Former NDC parliamentary aspirant and current Chairman of Action Youth for Mahama, popularly known as Awudu, is urging the NDC leadership in Ayawaso North constituency to renounce egotism and unify as one body to work for the success of the party ahead of the 2020 elections.
He said his exclusion behind the parliamentary candidate did not mean he has stopped working for the party. He pledges to support the candidate anytime he is called onboard.
His reaction comes out following an earlier publication by Scube Media titled ”Ghosts hoovering in Ayawaso north since 2016”. In an exclusive interview with the media outlet, he confirmed that indeed there are lots of issues affecting the NDC in the Ayawaso North Constituency that requires to be iron out.
He added that it is the sole responsibility of the parliamentary candidate Hon. Yusif Jajah, to ensure everybody joins the train regardless of the difference that exists among them.
Mr. Awudu said even though he lost the 2016 primaries he continued to help the people of the constituency in the interest of the party.
On his contributions to the constituency so far, Mr. Awudu said he has offered unpaid loans, to the women in the community, as well, he offered scholarships to NDC members in the area, he also gave out tricycles among others.
